Our client is a global bank with a strong custody, asset servicing, FX and securities lending business in Asia. They are looking to add bench strength to their sales team in Singapore at the VP/Director level.
Reporting into the Regional Head of Sales and Relationship Management you will leverage your existing network developing a pipeline of active discussions with the COO’s of the asset managers and insurance companies including both traditional mutual funds and non-bank financial institutions, across Asia. With a sales cycle that typically takes 12-18month you will take a strategic approach to deepen the relationships and expand the wallet size of the current client portfolio driving cross sell initiatives, whilst developing new relationships. You will also use your understanding of the RFP process to negotiate and agree contracts with new clients and drive transactions through the internal approval process. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a broad sales coverage role across the region with a strong existing client portfolio.
To be considered for this critical role you will require:
- educated to degree level with a proven track record in sales or relationship management in Asia;
- a good understanding of the custody and asset servicing product suite;
- self motivated and driven with the ability to work as an individual contributor as well as part of a team;
- strong communication skills in English with one other Asian language an advantage
