Director, Relationship Manager, Government Bodies

To develop and maintain a portfolio of customer relationships among political, community and not-for-profit advocacy groups.  Direct, administer and coordinate all Portfolio Management and Marketing efforts to this strategic customer segment.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  1. Maintain and develop a portfolio of non-profit commercial banking relationships among community political and progressive advocacy groups. 
  2. Develop marketing strategies and materials; identify potential deposit, cash management, and lending opportunities and cross-sell other Bank products including significant prospect calling to solicit new customers. 
  3. Coordinate all credit opportunities with the Credit Risk Management department and with loan underwriter in Commercial Banking.
  4. Manage a portfolio of account relationships to profitability.
  5. Document all communication with borrower and maintain all correspondence in the Bank’s credit file.
  6. Represent the Bank at industry conventions and customer sponsored events to promote the Bank’s image.
  7. Perform various administrative duties as directed.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  1. BA degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in commercial banking or working on political campaigns, community groups or advocacy organizations.
  3. Knowledge of commercial credit, loan underwriting and account analysis desirable.
  4. Excellent verbal/written communication; interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  5. Excellent presentation skills.
  6. Strong financial and analytical skills.
