Director - Restructuring (Credit Risk)

£70,000 - £80,000 base + circa £10,000 cash bens + bonus + pension

This leading global banking brand is further building its Corporate Banking Restructuring division.

As Director you will have the responsibility for the delivery of turnaround and managed exit strategies to a portfolio of stressed and distressed corporate customers. The portfolio will include large bilateral exposures and / or multi bank syndicated or club deals and / or leverage finance assets.

The role is one in which you can expect to be involved in remits such as -

* Agreeing with a Corporate Banking Director the appropriate case turnaround or exit strategy and then driving the implementation

* Formulation of robust credit strategies to minimise impairment

* Leading and driving the implementation, execution and delivery of the credit strategy and debut restructuring proposals across own portfolio

* Leading negotiations with Customers and stakeholders / leading and managing relationships with Large Corporate executives (Chairman / CEO / CFO)

* Applying impairment policy and ensuring impairment is raised or released

* Holding personal lending discretion of £30 million with authority to lend up to £2 million of new funds

You will be degree qualified or MBA with an ACIB or alternative professional qualification and have a proven track record in corporate, credit risk and restructuring markets.

You will have a good understanding of turnaround and managed exit strategies along with current knowledge of debt-based Larger Business and capital markets products and UK European insolvency matters.
