Position Overview - Director Sales II
*Manages markets with 500000 or more covered POPs with responsibilities including sales distribution planning customer service employee relations and training
*Assists with budget preparation and PL management
*Partners with others to identify opportunities in cost improvement and other financial functions in market or district
*Manage develop and implement key strategies/programs/policies for sales marketing PR finance human resources and customer operations by bringing field knowledge to the team.
*Maintains focus on customer satisfaction and channel productivity as major job responsibilities
*Manages staffing and recruiting functions for market/district including hiring activities management practices employee relations training and development of employees. Partners with HR when necessary to ensure policy/procedure enforcement provide performance management feedback to employees assist in career development and facilitate timely handling of employee relations issues
*Establishes programs to drive awareness of and positive image of Cricket brand in markets/district. Develop and maintain relationships with key business and government officials and works with these groups to integrate Cricket in all markets
*Maintain relationship with Network Operations Department to provide ongoing knowledge and participation in Network Development customer related network issues and resolution of network issues.
*Facilitates regularly scheduled all hands or staff meetings in market/district. Provides leadership mentoring and positive influence on employee morale.
Required Qualifications
*Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing related discipline or equivalent experience
*Minimum 5 years experience managing against PL goals budgeting forecasting and managing results
*Minimum 5 years experience selecting managing and developing employees
*Minimum 5 years experience back office systems (billing call center etc) with good computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
*Minimum 5 years experience managing a market area or district for a wireless telecomm service
provider with at least 500000 covered POPs.
