The Business Control Assurance (BCA) group partners with clients to improve their risk profile across business, finance and technology processes by identifying, quantifying and managing risks associated with their business. Due to the continued success of our BCA team, we are looking for a Director / Senior Manager to join our Brisbane practice. As a member of the BCA team, you will help clients to reduce risks, improve business processes, increase availability of data for decision making and enhance the reliability of financial reporting.
As a Director / Senior Manager, your scope of engagements will include:
- Leading large internal audit projects
- Risk and internal control analysis
- Lead development of proposals for opportunities for growth
- Supporting Engagement Managers in planning, delivery and completion of audit engagements;
- Work with clients to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in their business processes.
- Preparation of internal audit reports to clients identifying control deficiencies and practical recommendations to remedy any issues identified.
- Liaison with key client contacts during the planning, execution and finalisation of internal audits.
- Project management including budgeting and monitoring project costs.
- Providing coaching to junior team members to ensure assigned tasks are completed in accordance with PwCs risk and quality requirements.
To be successful in this position, you must have 8-10 years of related experience gained with a Big 4 or leading national firm, a Bachelor or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, an understanding of internal controls, business processes and risk assessment. You are a strong team player and have demonstrated skills in report writing and effective presentations, and the ability to listen to client issues, think analytically, consider alternative solutions and implement effective actions.
