Director, Strategy & Business Development recruitment

This role is based in Singapore to drive and execute strategic projects and tactical initiatives to achieve positive business impacts across the business. The person will act as a business partner to the Vice Presidents of Global Market Management to provide strategic analysis and to develop and execute the business strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide evaluation of identified strategic options and business opportunities, frame the identified opportunities into specific initiatives and obtains buy-in from stakeholders
• Drive the development and execution of strategic business initiatives efficiently and effectively, in close collaboration with relevant teams in the business and groups
• Act as the change engine for the line business, ensuring innovations / developments are led to successful implementation
• Work closely with the relevant teams to ensure alignment on efforts and prioritization of resources
• Act as the voice of the Market Management (MM) organization for projects impacting the line business, ensuring input and feedback from the MM organization is well captured and integrated
• Monitor the business impacts of initiatives
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and markets and build strong relationships with applicable regional leadership teams
• Build and facilitate the delivery of annual global business plan, cascading from the strategic plan to the overall goals
• Projects and initiatives may include for example: business model evolutions, improvement of demand-supply alignment, sales organization optimization etc
Role and Specification
• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business or above
• 7-10 years postgraduate experience, preferably with strong management consulting background
• Advanced level competencies across problem solving skills, result oriented, appetite for business impact/execution, drive and influence
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and demands in a fast moving organization – change oriented environment
• Self-motivated and ability to drive success with limited guidance
• Strong team player
