Director Structured / Project Finance recruitment

Based in Zug, Switzerland and being a member of QGC’s executive team reporting directly to the CEO of QGC, the ideal candidate would be a highly driven, experienced individual with a strong track record possessing strong communication, analytical, problem solving, influencing, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as comprehensive insight into market trends, good knowledge of the financial industry and deep business acumen.

Duties and responsibilities

♦ Key responsibility is to lead the financing, debt/capital raising and structuring activities of QGC, including origination, structuring and execution for the various investment projects and a diverse client base, globally.

♦ Liaise with banks, financial institutions, institutional investors, rating agencies and other stakeholders in the financial community to ensure timely availability of financing for projects at the most competitive terms.

♦ Close collaboration with the advisory team as well as other team members of the Quantum Global Group and ability to attract and lead junior team members to support the rapid growth of QGC and the Group.

Skills and specifications

♦ 10-15 years of relevant industry experience in leading global organizations, including reputable banks, with a successful track record of structuring and executing debt and equity project finance transactions in emerging markets. Prior exposure to African, Latin American and Asian markets is a valuable asset.

♦ Strong global network to support debt and equity capital raising from all types of financiers such as commercial lenders, IFCs, private equity funds as well as other principal investors.

♦ Experience in developing detailed fit-for-purpose project finance and structured finance financial models.

♦ Strong origination and delivery track record as well as the ability to operate in emerging markets.

♦ Ability to lead large projects independently, interact with senior stakeholders and seek excellence across a variety of activities.

♦ High enthusiasm for building and managing new businesses.

♦ Excellent academic background.

♦ Proficient English is a must, additional language skills in Portuguese, German and French would be an ideal asset.

♦ Willingness to travel internationally.

♦ Availability as soon as possible.
