Director, Work Out and Restructurings, Investment Fund
Our client is a major investment firm, with a very strong presence in mid market deals. They have made a number of equity and debt investments in recent years, many very successful, but are now in need of a Director level restructuring professional to assist in turning around, recovering or wrapping up investee companies or those business where significant investment has been made and there is a possibility of major default.
The role will lead the Restructuring process. This will involve working with the investee company to try and create a workout solution or turnaround strategy; working with the management of the companies to help them them; and ultimately and if necessary winding down the company, if no other outcome can be achieved.
Candidates will work for either the major Restructuring or Insolvency teams of the major accounting firms or potentially Insolvency practitioners or groups like Houilihan and Lokey. You will probably have at least 10 years experience and be at the Director level or equivalent.
