Disability Support Carer- Ongoing Casual Position 3 Days per Week!
A casual position for an experience support person to work casually three days a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-pm, is available to work with one of our disability organisations located North West of Sydney.
We are looking for a carer that has experience with working with people with autism and can provide one on one support. Your experience in redirecting and encouraging positive behaviours along with your previous experience would be ideal.
Responsibilities Include:
- Activities to promote interests
- Completion of progress notes
- Working with people with limited verbal communication
- To be committed in achieving goals that would promote integration
- into the community and participation in community activities
Requirements:
- 6 to 12 months experience in the disability industry- Autism preferred not essential
- Current drivers Licence
- Current First Aid
- Qualifications relevant to the disability industry would be an advantage
