Discovery Advisory Services Senior Associate
Our Discovery Advisory Services (DAS) group, part of the Deloitte FAS Analytic Forensic Technology ("AFT") practice, understands the highly complex legal market and the unique challenges faced by corporate law departments. As a result of our extensive project and industry experience and the ability to provide highly skilled and dedicated professionals, we are able to work with our clients to address their most challenging issues. We have a long history of working closely with the Office of General Counsel and other Corporate offices, as well as external counsel, providing both strategy and technology services designed to help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of law department operations. Our DAS services include: E–Discovery Readiness, Records Management, Document Management, Case Matter Management, Organization Design, Outside Counsel Review, Legal Bill Review and Claims Administration.
- 3–5+ years of corporate law department and/or consulting experience
- Understanding of corporate law department operations
- Experience in the following systems: case matter management, document and records management and claims
- Understanding of eDiscovery processes and tools
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non–technical terms
- Ability to provide strategy and operations design and implementation services
- Business development and/or marketing experience desired
- Records management and document retention experience
- Experience in professional services firm preferred
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be flexible with the potential travel requirements of client service projects
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
