Distressed/Special sits Associate for distressed debt hedge fund / London
A London hedge fund with in excess of $7billion of AUM is looking to appoint a Distressed/special sits Associate to join its flagship distressed debt book. The team has an outstanding reputation in the distressed debt space and the successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team in a high impact role. Candidates will have experience in:
· Refinancing
· Valuations and detailed financial modelling
· Liquidity analysis
· Debt for equity swaps
The Candidate must be at Associate Level as this is a junior to midlevel role
The candidate will be an integral member of the team working on:
·Fundamental, deep value analysis of opportunities
· Identifying, sourcing, structuring and executing investments in stressed, distressed private and public debt and equity
· Gaining a thorough understanding of stressed / distressed special sits environment
The successful candidate will be working directly alongside experienced buy side distressed debt professionals.
