Distribution Service Manager recruitment
A leading Investment Management firm is looking for a Distribution Service Manager to join a growing and dynamic area.
Role background:
The business is seeking to develop a number of new services to support the sales and distribution of funds, in particular UCITs funds that are the distributed globally. They are looking to create a new role to help the development of services around distribution.
Initially the role will focus on two new products, Marketing Support Services (MSS) and Distributor Workbench (DWB). Beyond these are opportunities to develop services to support the direct distribution of funds, to develop enhanced MI around funds distribution and to look at new opportunities for global funds distribution.
Role duties:
Supporting the sales process:
Documenting client requirements through the contract and SLA development process
Working with Legal and Pricing team to ensure services are correctly contracted and priced
Managing the on-boarding of new clients
Helping build and oversee client take-on plans
Preparation of management and client status reports
Client service delivery:
Working and coordinating with operational and technology teams across global operations to deliver services
Act as client interface to resolve service delivery issues
Host and manage regular service review meetings
Preparation of management and client service delivery reports
Outsourced vendor service delivery:
Preparing Statement of Works in respect of service and system enhancements
Oversight of vendor deliverables
Hosting regular service review meetings.
Candidates MUST have:
A strong understanding of Transfer Agency
Experience of supporting the sales process
Experience of client management and reporting
Experience of managing and working with virtual teams
Strong analytical and project management skills and track record
A thorough understanding of the funds business (ideally with a background in web based technologies and data management)
Experience in the development, production and distribution of funds marketing collateral would be a key advantage
Excellent Execl, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project skills are essential
Versatility and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of DSS business development
Self-starter attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
