As part of a centralized support team, the incumbent is responsible for providing professional support to Regional Presidents, Portfolio Officers, Team Leaders and Administrators within all Wealth Management business lines through timely and accurate production of servicing requirements for termination of all types of IMA's, IRA's, Custody, Assets Not Held, and Suspense Accounts. He/She will provide expertise in ensuring that distributions are made in accordance with the terms of governing documents and in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, auditing and regulatory requirements of the Comptroller of the Currency and the SEC. Functions include, but are not limited to, written and oral communication with clients to guide them through the distribution process, interaction with brokers, attorneys, the Attorney General's office, and various internal departments to ensure proper handling of fees, taxes, and asset and cash movement. The incumbent will be a subject matter expert and will be expected to handle complex client inquiries, exercise initiative in researching, analyzing and resolving problems, and exercising sound judgment regarding the proper handling of client requests. Incumbent will need to continually assess frequent priority requests. He/she will need to ensure that all compliance, laws and regulations are being followed with the various types of accounts. He/she will possess broad knowledge with the ability to recognize and initiate appropriate actions necessary to distribute assets by utilizing various systems. The incumbent must be able to work in a highly confidential environment with some of the wealthiest, high profile clients of the corporation. He/she must ensure a superior level of customer satisfaction while adhering to Wealth Management policies, procedures, auditing and regulatory requirements. He/she is required to demonstrate outstanding communication in every aspect of the position. He/she will be expected to train new specialists and be a resource to the team for questions. The incumbent needs to recognize opportunities to retain business and refer it to one of our licensed financial representatives when appropriate and follow through to ensure a flawless transition. He/she will interact with individuals throughout the organization at all levels in order to accomplish objectives. Also the incumbent will participate in complex projects to support the business lines needs. The incumbent will have a strong desire to consistently improve workflow to increase efficiencies and must be able to respond, react and adapt quickly to new processes and procedures. He/She will be expected to review processes and make recommendations for improvements. Outstanding knowledge of various types of securities and assets movement related to IMA, Custody, IRA, ANH, Back Office, Employee Benefit, and Suspense Accounts. Leveraging business partners for execution of asset movements for completing the distribution process. Proficiency in identifing issues, seeking solutions or communicating to proper channel for resolution. Manage all client inquiries timely to maintain a high level of client satisfaction. Centralized support team member who's individual performance directly impacts service to internal/external clients and influences other team members. Demonstrates high degree of accuracy and ability to understand and minimize risk associated with all aspects of responsibilities. Proficiency in communication with individuals at all levels in the organization, clients, brokers, attorneys and operational personnel on a daily basis. Conduct specialist or departmental training as needed. Manage client expectations by exceeding set deadlines and assisting other team members to do the same.

Qualifications

High School Diploma. BS/BA in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred. 0-2 years experience in financial services or related field. 3-4 Years experience in financial services or related field preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred. Familiar with BNY Mellon Wealth Management proprietary systems preferred. Possess strong communication and client service skills. Strong organizational methods with emphasis on detail for sound decisions.
