Distribution Strategy Consultant

Our client, a leading provider of Asset Services, currently seeks a Distribution Strategy Consultant, to be based in London

The Distribution Strategy Consultant will be part of the Distribution Support Services team and will be responsible for:

-Development of DS marketing materials, support and input into marketing campaigns, and working with sales and RM teams to deliver presentations to support DS and distribution focused client meetings and events.

-Identify and progress new business opportunities that will either help Investor Services retain existing clients or win new business

-Work with fund clients to identify infrastructure optimisation opportunities; and or identify opportunities to expand their distribution network through the use and application of DSS

-Build and maintain good relationships with key fund distributors, so as to facilitate client introductions.

-Represent effectively the needs and views of the clients and market in terms of new DS product requirements and support the delivery of DS product enhancements through active engagement in product development projects.

-Operate effectively within a team environment and engage with a wide number of stakeholders including Sales, RMs and in particular Transfer Agency colleagues.

-Balance overall compliance and risk interests with profitable product developments.

As such, the successful Distribution Strategy Consultant will have the following skills and experience:

-To be recognised the DS product 'champion' both internally and externally, establishing, maintaining and communicating with key stakeholders about DS product capabilities, plans and future developments

-Ability to engage with key internal stakeholders, management, risk, compliance, sales and RMs

-Ability to effectively understand client needs and influence clients in areas of product discussions and decisions

-To be in demand from clients and staff to provide input to DS discussions and developments.

-Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal (including Presentation format) and written form, internally and with external parties

-Professional relevant academic qualifications preferable eg CFA, ACA, MBA
