Divisional Finance Director recruitment
The Company
A growing and progressive group is looking for a dynamic and experienced Divisional Finance Director to manage the division' finances, influence and provide financial support to the MD and contribute to the division's strategic and operational success.
The Role
The division itself has grown significantly, and your responsibilities will encompass a variety of areas including developing and implementing strategies in conjunction with the Board, ensuring that the expansion of the division reflects any strategic change, as well as overall responsibility to ensure that efficient financial controls and processes and systems are in place. You will also work closely with the Group finance team to ensure that all Divisional financial imperatives are managed within the scope of Group governance.
Group has a relatively 'light touch' and there is significant autonomy in this Divisional role.
As the right candidate, you will be qualified - ACA ACCA CIMA - and consider yourself in the top quartile of your peers. You will have extensive experience of managing financial operations, MA and projects, as well as commercial experience in dealing with bids, tenders and contracts. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills and be able to interact across the group at all levels. You will be seen as a high flyer and have an extensive track record of achievement.
The role has significant interaction with operations, so is best suited to candidates who regard themselves as having a degree of charisma with strong commercial acumen.
