We’re currently looking for a Divisional Finance Manager to join our Asset Management team at The Bond, Sydney. As Divisional Finance Manager you will be the finance lead for a portfolio of retail assets and contribute to the sound management and improved net returns of the portfolio. You will need to work collaboratively with Centre Management teams, asset management, investment management and development teams in order to maximise the potential outcomes and drive net returns. You will also maintain close relationships with other members of the asset management finance team to ensure effective and consistent approach in all deliverables. You will be the finance lead for due diligence work, and be the subject matter expert on majors’ leases, turnover rent and outgoings recovery modelling and calculation, be the finance lead for any integration projects and train the new centre management teams where necessary in Lend lease financial processes.

To be successful in your application you will be degree qualified in Accounting and either CPA or CA qualified. You’ll have 5 years post qualified experience in a retail asset management focussed role with strengths and technical ability in financial and management accounting. You will be a team player with the ability to communicate your findings with non financial team members and assist your team with key reporting deliverables, on time. We’d like you to have demonstrated experience with technical accounting, AIFRS/statutory reporting experience, strong Excel competency, including modelling, sound communication skills and an analytical mind. Ideally you have managed staff or are a leader with the capability to develop into this management position.
