Document Control Specialist

Kelly Scientific Resources has a full time opening for a Document Control Specialist to work with a major company in the Pharmaceutical industry. Position Overview: This Document Control position is concerned with the generation and maintenance of Document Control records and departmental SOPs and uploading scientific data. The incumbent will be responsible for the day to day tasks in this key quality system through adherence to company and departmental procedures. Major Position Activities Responsibilities: · Processing Document Change Requests, drafting documents, editing and tracking of documents · Answering questions, customer assistance with drafting requests from individual users. · Issuance and logging of data/ test results, check sheets and associated forms · Maintaining departmental SOP manuals, including audit of manuals and logging in of obsolete documents · Logging in and filing of documents ( Validation/QC Protocols and Summary Reports, GMP's) · Auditing/searching/filing of documents issuance, tracking and archiving of all scientific data, and other GMP logbooks Background Qualifications: High School education and a minimum of 2 years experience in document control or related field. Science background highly desired! Desktop publishing including proficiency in WORD, Excel, Access, Photo Editor, and Adobe Acrobat preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Scientific background and knowledge of cGMPs preferred.
