Drill fitters Job in Mt Isa 4740, Queensland Australia
ROCK Australia requires the services of experienced Drill Fitters to join our maintenance team at our Lady Annie operations Mt Isa QLD.
Responsibilities will include:
· Daily workshop on site field service repairs
· Technical guidance field service support to operations personnel
· Training support to other ROCK employees
· Liaison with OEM’s suppliers on technical issues
These positions are permanent FIFO/DIDO 8/6 rosters. Applicants are required to have a Mechanical Trades Certificate and experience working with Sandvik drill rigs and general mining equipment.
Criteria for position:
· Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
· A positive attitude towards safety, training environment
· Pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
· Hold a current drivers licence
