A very rare opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the very well established and succesful Manpower Driving and Logistics team in Ipswich.
You will be responsible for generating new business and providing excellent customer service.
A large proportion of your day will be spent out of the office, so you must hold a valid UK driving licence. The use of a company car and mobile telephone will be provided.
You will be required to sell Manpower Driving and Logistics services into transport and distribution companies.
The ideal candidate will have a very good understanding of the transport and industry, with a working knowledge of all the legislation that surrounds it.
You must be very confident in your manner, demonstrate resilience and determination and not always expect to see results immediately.
Any previous experience of a sales would be an advantage, but this is not essential.
You must have a good working knowledge of standard IT packages - e/mail, word, excel and know how to use the internet to its best advantage to generate new business leads.
You must be articulate and professional and be able to deliver to clients the benefits of Manpower as a brand.
You must be able to multi task and feel comfortable working in an environment that is constantly changing.
