Drupal Engineer at AtreNet (Santa Cruz, CA) (allows remote)
Job Description
We are seeking an exceedingly talented Drupal engineer to join our team of creative and technology experts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Drupal theme development with superior Front-End/UI Development and module development skills.
Responsibilities:
• Development of W3C complaint HTML5 Drupal themes from design comps
• Integrate Social Network API to extend functionality to Drupal
• Develop custom Drupal modules using the Drupal hook system
• Write clean code with good naming conventions
• Continually deliver assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Clear verbal and written communication with the team members
• Ongoing daily maintenance updates and additions from our current client base
You should be an individual that can stand back and think critically about the best way to implement a solution not only from an engineering perspective, but from a user perspective as well. We use SEO best practices when developing HTML markup and therefore candidate is required to be familiar with those practices as well. Familiarity with source control in SVN and Linux command line are a must.
