E-Business Manager Job in Northern, New Jersey Us

Job Description

 

ASCO Valve, Inc., a division of Emerson Electric and the worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of solenoid valves has an opportunity for an E-Business Manager in our Florham Park Office.

Responsibilities:

·         Manage the design, development, implementation and maintenance of eBusiness applications

·         Manage web based systems, including SharePoint application development, to provide uninterrupted, scalable and flexible solutions consistent with business needs

·         Manages ASCO Numatics’ eBusiness initiatives primarily driven through its Intranet, Extranet and Public Site

·         Interpret and align business requirements with suitable web based solutions

·         Supervises on and off-shore ASCO resources to meet programming needs

·         Manages on and off shore web development vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of data processing solutions and services

·         Develops and establish department standards, procedures and policies in line with Emerson and external audit requirements

·         Maintain effective communication with IT as well as across the organization to ensure that e-Business requirements are met

·         Select develop and motivate staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of specialized skills to maintain a high level of intrinsic knowledge

·         Manage team of web developers

Job Requirements

 

·         5 years IT, at least 2 years managing projects and resources

·         Sound understanding of Web technologies

·         Experience in a manufacturing industry a plus

·         Understanding of general business practices

·         General understanding of web based solutions, underlying architecture and infrastructure

·         Sound understanding of database structures

·         Skills in organization, coordination and management of multiple simultaneous projects, often under strictly controlled timelines and budget

·         Ability to operate independently and as a team member

·         Sound understanding of database structures

·         Must be self motivated, result oriented, and a team player

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  

Education:

·         Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Mgmt. or Business Administration, Master degree strongly preferred
