E-Trading Consultant (Business Analyst)
E-Trading Business Analyst/ Consultant - Tier 1 Investment Banking
The new e-Trading structure has the objective of reducing the complexity of trading systems and processes for Fixed Income and Forex by leveraging best-in-class firm technology assets and driving convergence towards a streamlined front-to-back architecture.
The group is specifically looking to increase “electronification” of internal and external flows through delivery of a single UI across clients and sales, offering new workflows and expanded product support.
The roles are for Senior Business Analysts / Consultants to join the Change team to support the development team in delivery in new trading workflows between Sales and Traders.
The project is fast-paced and requires a proactive BA to work closely with both front office and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business obtaining sign-off
- Liaises with programme / project managers, clients, and other stakeholders as appropriate as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification
- Validates feasibility studies and estimates
- Validates business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
- Drives the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and manages identified impacts and risks
- Responsible for Quality Assurance of project deliverables
- Prioritises change requests and is an escalation point
- Works with Business Analysis Managers to ensure consistent implementation of processes
You will have:
- Detailed and strong knowledge of either – Pricing (pricing curves), Quant e-trading systems, Single Dealer and multi dealer systems, market making applications or Algorithmic Systems.
- Strong experience of Business Analysis including requirements gathering, specification production etc.
- Experience in documenting business process flows, and implementing business process, controls and governance change
- Regulatory Change experience highly desirable – Dodd Frank, MIFID
- Experience in Agile Delivery
- Excellent Communication skills – especially including the ability to listen
- Ability to work on own initiative on multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong stakeholder management and experience dealing with front office sales / traders
