Economics Graduate Required
The Role
Standard Chartered is seeking an Economics Graduate with a 2:1 degree or above to work as a Research Assistant within Global Research for 3 - 12 months. This team provides Institutional Research content to corporations, governments and financial institutions as well as internally. The team comprises of 190 professionals located in over 10 countries and is responsible for the delivery of client-facing research for WB.
Key Accountabilities
The team comprises of 190 professionals located in over 10 countries and is responsible for the delivery of client-facing research for WB. This individual will be involved in the following:
- Construct and manage data bases and prepare charts for research publications.
- Undertake research on cross-country themes in economies and markets for publications and presentations under the direction of senior researchers.
- Respond to management requests for data, information and analysis as required.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and summaries based on in depth knowledge of the latest global research forecasts, insights and publications.
- Develop relationships within the Global Research team, senior management, Risk and Corporate Affairs.
- Develop relationships externally with economists/researchers/policy-makers around the world in institutes, government, academia, private sector, media.

Skills Experience
Economics graduate
