Economist , Analyst, hedge Fund recruitment
Reporting into the Director of Research, the succesful candidate will be responsible for researching and analysing market trends, coming up with advice and ideas to aid in portfolio construction and trading strategies. My client is looking for someone with "Macro Economist" experience at a mid - senior level, with 3+ years experience in a macro economist capacity, you will have a solid understanding of the marketplace and be very competent in articulating market trends. It is preferable that you have experience working at a hedge fund or within asset management.
This is a great chance to join a very succesful, largely systematic, hedge fund and help with research and investment ideas, you will be expected to provide the director of research with a fundamental macro view and help out on ad hoc projects through the company, adding a macroeconomic view.
The succesful candidate will have 3 + years research experience and be energectic and competent in articulating trends and views to the CIO and head of research, this fund operates on a global diversified basis, covering commodity futures, index futures, financials etc...
