LNG Analyst required – Oil & Gas Major – London recruitment
The successful candidate will gather relevant LNG market information, build and maintain analytical models to provide dynamic analysis of physical demand, and develop economic models to model fiscal terms, costs, revenues and returns of LNG sales opportunities.
Other tasks include:
• Constant interaction with LNG traders
• Daily reports on topics relevant to LNG trading desk
• Evaluation of LNG written agreements
• Monitoring market trends and using analytical tools to derive market insights
Requirements:
• Substantial experience of trading analysis in LNG markets
• In depth knowledge of the LNG industry, especially commercial and operational nature of LNG
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or other industry relevant field
The LNG Analyst will gain significant global exposure to LNG markets – the focus will be on the UK, but tracking of other markets (eg. the Far East LNG market) is essential. This is a very fast-paced opportunity in a dynamic trading environment – the LNG Analyst will physically sit on the trading desk.
