ECS Account Manager
Cash Management delivers first class services and solutions in the areas of Payments Services and Cash Liquidity Management to UBS internal and external clients across Investment Bank, Global Asset Management Wealth Management.
The Execution Clearing and Settlement (ECS) business is made up of Intermediary Brokers, AFS licence holders and Superannuation Funds.
ECS Client Services Team are allocated their own client base, and are accountable for the ongoing relationships with, and provision of exceptional client service to, the advisors and support personnel of each of these clients.
The successful candidate will work in the ECS Client Services Team and responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring queries across the business
- Responding to client queries, ensuring they understand the issue, and commit to a resolution within an agreed time frame support the ECS client base.
- Booking and allocation of trades.
- To liaise with the respective internal / external parties to escalate and remediate the issue.
- Types of Queries include; Trading / Execution, New Accounts, Account changes, Bookings / Allocations and Settlements
- Recording Intermediary statistics and completing team daily checklists
- Engaging clients on a regular basis through meetings (on the phone or in person) ensuring awareness and KYC at all times, keeping the management and the business informed by publishing written agendas, post meeting minutes, outstanding action items and regular reporting of progress and actions.
- Update and maintain client profile/support document or each client, including key personnel, key processes, and specialised systems requirements.
- Analyse key trends with your client base, including identification of process and service delivery issues.
- In conjunction with Business Head, Sales and Relationship Manager and/or your team leader, meet with clients from time to time including social functions.
Requirements
- At least 1 years' experience working within a retail brokerage firm
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of assigned clients including but not limited to business strategy and model, trading patterns, key clients and their requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate across multiple aspects of the organisation facing off to the ECS client base.
- Candidate must have a sound risk and control mind set and not be afraid to challenge the status quo in order to achieve improved control standard or mitigate risk.
- Solid understanding of financial implications of cash movements interest methodologies to mitigate cash, funding liquidity risk.
- A general knowledge of the Australian Stock Broking industry.
