General Position Summary:
The Legal Entity Group is a global group within Morgan Stanley with offices in New York, London, Tokyo Hong Kong and Budapest.
The Legal Entities Group is the data processing arm of the Enterprise Data Group. It is responsible for legal entity data processing, which includes validating and maintaining external legal entity data and documentation for client business.
The Data Management team validates and maintains data about legal entities which is stored in databases and is leveraged for various purposes (e.g. operational and regulatory risk management) by many different groups within the Firm.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring legal entities’ data are up-to-date and correct in Morgan Stanley systems
• Review of name and address information of existing legal entities and verify for completeness
• Maintenance of regulatory identifiers associated with legal entities
• Execution of projects relating to legal entity data
• Working with global groups on a regular basis
• Following up on issues independently
