EDI System Analyst-Development/Support
Provide escalated support involving all EDI modules within the Practice Management application. Analyst will assist clients with identifying application issues and explaining setup, troubleshooting outgoing and incoming EDI transaction issues, suggesting recommendations for application changes or updates, developing subject matter expertise used for training clients, and staying current on industry changes within healthcare EDI and how it impacts the application.

- Escalated support for EDI clients
- Works with Development on EDI Claims/ERA modules
- Research and write specifications for EDI Claims /ERA defects and enhancements
- Subject matter expert and resource for department and other NextGen departments to include Support, Implementation Training, Sales, and QA and Documentation.
- Special Projects pertaining to EDI and industry changes
- Supports EDI Products and Services
- Customer setup training on EDI modules
- Create documentation on setup within EDI modules
REQUIRED QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Possess in depth knowledge of the ANSI X12 format including 837, 835, 997, 277
- Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Effectively manage multiple client issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Display a high degree of motivation and the ability to work independently
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent English language, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Dedication to excellent Customer Service
o Knowledge of NSF or ANSI X12 formats including 837 (professional, institutional and dental) and 835
o Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
o Strong communication and analytical skills
o Display a high degree of motivation and ability to work independently
o Proven ability to work in a team environment
