Editor
The role
Bloomberg is seeking an Editor with significant experience working at newspapers, newsletters or editing investment banking research. The focus will be on producing daily or weekly specialty economics and finance publications. Successful candidates will have strong writing and communication skills with a proven ability to make stories accessible to a broad audience. An ability to work with a wide array of groups and people is essential.
Responsibilities
-Editing sophisticated analyses.
-Aggregating news.
-Creating compelling charts and data features-Building relationships with readers/clients and within the company.
Qualifications
- Experience writing and editing about financial markets on deadline.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Contacts in financial markets.
- Knowledge of the Bloomberg system, or a desire to build proficiency.
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel or a desire to develop data analysis skills
- Fluency in English is a must; Chinese would be a plus.
