Programme Manager
Leading Investment Bank are seeing an exceptional Programme Manager to deliver high profile global change initiatives in the Sales Research business area.
The Programme Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for managing a portfolio of CRM related projects within the Coverage Group. This group is responsible for managing the technology needs of the Corporate Finance, Institutional Client Group, Research Structuring business areas within the Investment Bank. The role requires strong governance capabilities, programme management relationship management to partner with senior stakeholders specifically the Research Institutional Client Group (Sales) business with respect to their CRM technology needs.
This is an opportunity for an exceptional candidate with superior analytical and programme management skills to drive improvements to the process tools used within the Sales Research business with respect to the CRM client analytics, MI reporting ultimately increase productivity of the business leveraging technology solutions.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Responsible for end-to-end management of medium to large scale projects with global business IT stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with the business clients and other stakeholders ensure full alignment of the program strategy with the business objectives; develop a medium long term IT strategy in line with business vision.
- Responsible for project plans, milestones, budgets, team stakeholder communication, resource time management.
- Manage business analysts to document detailed requirements obtain business sign-off through successful UAT
- Manage delivery within budget, quality, scope timelines.
- Work in virtual teams and most important to be able to manage change effectively
- Share program / project management best practices with project team members.
- Define and establishe appropriate governance structures and processes to drive the program / project.
- Forms and manages teams by organising resources and skills effectively against tasks.
- Identify and manage risks and issues within the project and at a program level escalate appropriately.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, global environment
- Ensure successful transition to production / steady-state environment.
Experience / Exposure
- Extensive experience managing IT applications programs / projects within Investment Banking
- Excellent business domain knowledge (Debt or Equity research, sales trading experience)
- Client Relationship Management – domain knowledge of the requisite data flows, process tools vendor offerings
- Experience with global projects stakeholders ; managing regional needs vs. global consistency
- Good communication, negotiation, networking influencing skills
- Good working knowledge of budget / financial management
