Editor (English language) (based in Singapore Office)
Responsibilities
The Editor will be responsible for editing in English a broad range of Moody's commentary on companies, industries, and events in Asia Pacific, and which will be read by the regional and global financial community.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to review; from the perspective of credit analysis - for logic, structure, and consistency.
- Must be able to write or rewrite articles, adding value in terms of structuring conclusions and contributing towards the formation of credible credit arguments.
- Work closely and collaboratively with Moody's analysts to hone key messages and improve communications clarity and style.
- Write press releases, abstracts, articles, web copy to promote Moody's research.
- Work with teams in Beijing, Hong Kong, London, New York, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo, and which are engaged in a wide range of activities, including credit analysis, business development, marketing and media communications.
Qualifications
- At least five years of writing and editing experience, preferably working with financial, economic, or general business content.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, able to work under deadline, and manage multiple projects/ priorities.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Should have a good knowledge of the leading financial and business issues currently topical in Asia Pacific, and a strong interest in current events.
- Minimum of undergraduate degree is required.
