Education Account Executive

Education Account Executive - Sunnyvale, CA [1029]

  • Focus on increasing market share for Proofpoint products through outbound telephone prospecting to EDU accounts within assigned region
  • Promote further adoption of the Proofpoint Suite through account management of installed EDU Customer base
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver web based and onsite product demos
  • Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition
  • Work with System Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Partner with the channel to drive incremental revenue
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Meet or exceed revenue quota
  • 5+ Years of net new account management experience in enterprise software sales
  • Must demonstrate sustained success in an enterprise sales role
  • SLED or EDU experience a plus
  • SaaS Experience a plus
  • Security or Archive experience a plus
  • Up to 40% travel
