Salon Development Manager-Redken
Don't miss this opportunity to join one of the largest and most recognized companies in the beauty industry! SalonCentric, the professional products distribution operation of LOréal USA, is looking for an experienced Salon Development Manager. This full time position will be based out of Omaha, NE.
Position Summary
The Salon Development Manager is the link between manufacturer and distributor through sales training meetings, regional programs, and trade shows. This role will develop the Redken business in existing accounts and open new accounts within the territory to achieve Redken and SalonCentric sales goals. In this role, you will work closely with the SalonCentric Sales Consultant in developing a business plan for these salons and implementing the plan using all of the resources made available through RedkenSales, Education Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Understand and embrace the Redken Message.
· Prospect and profile the salon accounts that fit the Redken image.
· Present the Redken "Proudly Professional" or current sales presentations with a high energy motivational delivery.
· Communicate opportunities to management in regards to new competitive product innovations.
· Be in tune with salon trends and make recommendations to tailor strategies to better serve these key target salons.
· Manage and apply all appropriate amounts of resources based on existing and new salon potential.
· Participate as directed in distributor sales meetings, shows, special events and store development.
· Work effectively with the Redken Education Team in developing the salons educational strategy as part of the overall business plan.

· Ability to teach and/or present ad hoc Education classes if certified.
· Train SalonCentric Sales Consultants on Matrix added value selling.
Existing Salon Development:
· Evaluate the salon growth potential through the analysis of sales patterns, educational programs, and Redken purchases. · Develop a rolling six month sales and education business plan for the existing salon utilizing Redken promotions, incentives and education resources.
· Work effectively with SalonCentric Sales Consultants in planning and implementing strategies with these salons.
· Conduct effective salon meetings by teaching appropriate Business Platform modules.
· Identify specific salons to work with on a quarterly basis and set Goals and Objectives with regards to building their business.
New Salon Development:
· In conjunction with Redken SalonCentric Sales Consultants, target new high potential salons.
· Develop a rolling six month sales and education business plan for the new salon utilizing Redken promotions, incentives and education resources.
· Work effectively with SalonCentric Sales Consultants in planning and implementing strategies with these salons.
· Conduct effective salon meetings by teaching appropriate Business Platform modules.
· Identify and open new salons to approach on a quarterly basis and set Goals and Objectives with regards to opening these salons.
Knowledge and Skills Required
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills

· Proven ability to work with "A" level salons on Redken business development
· Professional attitude and fashionable image
· Ability to travel and work weekends
· Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Ability to assess strategic customer needs and build alliances over time
· Stylist/Cosmetology License an asset and/or 3 years in Salon experience
· College Degree required. Exceptional candidates will be considered.
