Effective Interest Rate Operations Manager
Our client, a leading investment institution, is seeking a Effective Interest Rate Operations Manager to manage one of their teams. The Supervisor of the team is responsible for the oversight reporting team. They must ensure that all client deliverables are planned for and met and system and process improvements are implemented effectively. They are responsible for ensuring that appropriate operational processes and controls are effective in the area.
Responsibilities of the Effective Interest Rate Operations Manager:
- Ensuring direct reports are proficient and coached to meet their objectives and deliveries
- Responsible for that day to day oversight and motivating of a small team of people to deliver key information to key clients
- Planning workloads effectively to achieve deadlines
-Ensuring that client deliveries are met to agreed service level agreements.
- Review of Effective Interest Rate calculations and reports
-Review of weekly, monthly, quarterly deliveries
- Assisting to lead on projects and process improvements
- Keep up to date on accounting standard and regulatory change and manage offshore training as required
Background of the Effective Interest Rate Operations Manager:
- Experience working within financial services is essential
- Hands on working knowledge of the Effective Interest Rate is essential
- People management/supervisory experience essential
- Hands on experience working with fixed interest/fixed income products
- Excellent reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills
This is a permanent position for an Effective Interest Rate Operations Manager paying an excellent salary plus bonus and benefits.
