The Company
Our client designs and produces interactive computer controls and software for computerized machine tools that enhance manufacturing productivity. The company is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will contribute to meet the expanded customer order requirements. This position is located in Central Indiana.
The Opportunity
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the integration of PLC and Servo systems controls into the company’s proprietary line of machine tools.
Essential Job Functions
- Determine electrical design by studying project concepts, objectives and requirements
- Develop PLC systems for CNC machines
- Design automation and electromechanical processes
- Create AutoCAD design and engineering documentation
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineer Technology (BSEET)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant PLC programming experience
- Knowledge of servo configuration and tuning
