Electrical Engineer
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development and qualification of Magnetics and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components. Work with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing and Design Engineers to ensure that component specifications are clear, complete and cost-effective and to validate that vendor/component has high capability to meet specifications repeatedly. Design, develop, debug, modify and test electrical circuits and systems. Document electrical development. Track electrical development and solve engineering problems by recommending corrective or alternative actions. Research and select electronic circuits, components, tools, equipment and practices.
BACKGROUND:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree is preferred
- 3+ years experience with component selection and qualification, electronic measurements systems, Gage R/R, DOEs and device level testing
- Excellent project management skills and ability to influence
- Good understanding of statistical methods and six sigma methodology
- Prefer detailed background on Magnetics components
- Medical device or regulated environment background
- Will consider new grad with demonstrated leadership ability and related projects and internships
