The Electrical Engineer job duties includes aspects of design, analysis, and manufacturing. Electrical engineers support the manufacturing processes and equipment in the manufacturing facility by designing, specifying, purchasing and constructing electrical systems and components. Engineers are expected to spend a fair amount of time in hands-on activities. Interaction with all levels of employees will be encountered.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of an Electrical Engineer is to manage projects tied to the capital budget for the facility. This involves both Design and Project Management aspects.
- Spends time in all facets of project management including: Economic justification, design, vendors/procurement, installation, start-up, and training.
