Goodrich, a leader in the design and manufacturing of sensors and precision instrumentation for commercial, military, and business and regional jet aircraft worldwide has an immediate opening for a Electrical Design Engineer.

We are seeking an experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering to support the development, qualification, and field support of aerospace sensors and systems. The selected candidate will work in the Video Surveillance and Electronic Flight Bag Design Engineering Group within Sensor and Integrated Systems, Goodrich Corporation.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

The Engineer will be responsible for assisting in various phases of development projects, where good understanding of basic electrical engineering principals are required.

The selected candidate will have strong communication skills and exhibit competencies in creative problem solving, bias for action, customer focus, drive for results, and self development.

This position involves a mix of analog technologies, power, and digital electronics. Additionally, LCD, imager, and video formats will be utilized and integrated with the designs.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Design, document, test and perform other hardware related activities.

- Support members of the Integrated Product Team (Software, Mechanical, Systems, and Manufacturing).

- Participate in team coordination meetings.

- Interact with internal an external customers.

- Develop solutions to problems with minimal scope and complexity.

- Participate in design reviews

Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum experience: 0-2 years of experience as an Engineer.

Experience with electrical design tools (schematic entry, board layout) is preferred.

Successful applicants must undergo a drug test/physical and background check.
