Lead the way with energy savings! A manufacturing client in Fort Wayne, Indiana, needs an Electrical Engineer with experience cutting energy costs in manufacturing plants. BSEE and 3 + years energy cost reduction project experience. Excellent benefits and an amazing relocation plan including home purchase.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects in a manufacturing plant to reduce energy consumption in the manufacturing line, boilers, electrical systems, etc
- Investigate processes, brainstorm opportunities, manage vendors and contractors, and manage improvement projects
- Manage improvement projects including economic justification, design, vendor selection, procurement, installation, start-up, and training
- Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, modification, and installation of equipment and machinery in the plant
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- 3 to 7 years experience in manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience managing cost savings projects related to plant utilities - electrical, steam, etc
- Experience with maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Experience with lighting, control components, process instrumentation, and discrete devices
