Job Description: Electrical Engineer
Designs, tests, troubleshoot, installs, and maintains large-scale electro-mechanical equipment and components or machinery for use in the waste to energy gasification/power generation industry. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design and Layout digital control systems for automated chemical processes – Work with appropriate contractor in this function
- PLC Programming/troubleshooting
- HMI Programming/troubleshooting
- System startup assistance
- Power system layout, including motors and their drive systems
- Pneumatic controls System Design
- Electrical Layout Design/Drawings
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Problem solving techniques
- High level of integrity and discipline
- Strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of electrical and controls principles
Other Desired Characteristics
- Knowledge of Control Loop Theory
- Experience in Control System and HMI Design and Programming

Minimum Qualifications
