Electrical Engineer

This position works on design of electric power distribution, transmission, substation and renewable projects, including field surveying, job scope development, coordination with CADD process, line layout/routing, substation layout/equipment plan, completion of required design calculations, and production of both preliminary and final design drawings and documentation. Project types will include design of substation facilities and or aerial and underground electric distribution and transmission lines.
- Field surveying;

- Line layout/routing;
- Substation layout/equipment plan;
- Completion of required design calculations;
- Production of preliminary and final design drawings and documentation;
- Participate in the review of client Requests for Proposal and contribute to the completion of competitive project proposals and bid responses;
- Perform internal technical consulting for communications and power construction business lines;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical or power engineering required.
- Experience in the design of electrical transmission and/or distribution required.
- Bachelor degree in electrical or power engineering required.
- Experience in the design of substation facilities is a plus.
- EIT status is required, with PE registration status a plus.
- Familiarity with PLS CADD and ETAP a plus
