Electronic Execution Project Manager recruitment
Candidate will report to the EMEA Head of Electronic Trading Technology among an organisation of approximately 40 people in various teams. The candidate will be self-starting and capable of working on their own as well as part of a team.
For projects or initiatives spanning multiple applications or groups within the Electronic Trading technology organisation and wider Equities Technology department the candidate will be responsible for:
- Business requirements analysis and capture Project scheduling,
- Prioritisation, and coordination Project risk/issue/progress tracking and reporting
To effect:
- Development of Equity Trading systems to cater to the requirements of the European equity business
- Implementation of new/altered systems
Development value:
Ongoing active involvement in strategic advancement of the Equities Electronic business platform.
The equity algorithmic trading platforms are evolving rapidly, offering many opportunities to exercise and improve technical and organisational skills. The role also offers the opportunity to learn the Equity Trading and Algorithmic Trading business.

Skills
- Experience of algorithmic/electronic trading business or technology would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience of working in the finance industry would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work to tight deadlines as part of a team
- Candidate must be able to work effectively as part of a larger team and be able to communicate at an appropriate level depending on the types of people involved
- Delivery focused
- Very strong analytical and project management and coordination skills
- Knowledge of Equities products (stock, futures, options, swaps etc), would be beneficial.
- Experience in the electronic trading environment would be beneficial but not essential
