Electronic Market Making Algorithmic Trader for Equities at a Director level with a Tier 1 US investment bank located in London
JOB DESCRIPTION-
An Algo Trader position has become available on an Equities Electronic Market Making desk, as the team looks to grow at a top tier US Investment bank, to be based in London. My client is seeking a Director level Algorithmic Trader to drive their Equities franchise across Europe as the electronic market making team look to expand. The successful candidate will be responsible for algorithmic trading and high frequency automated making.
You will be tasked with driving new Electronic Market Making strategy across Europe, so you will expect to perform the following.
- Automated trading and market making of cash equities and equity futures.
- You will be expected to drive the research, development and real-time monitoring of the automated pricing, risk management and execution algorithmic strategies.
- Develop a deep understanding of electronic market making strategies
- Development and optimise algorithmic trading strategies.
- Design and implementation of algorithmic auto-hedging and Algo pricing engines.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Extensive experience as an equities algorithmic trader
- In depth knowledge and understanding of European equities
- Deep interest in design and implementation of algorithmic trading strategies
- Strong technical skills
- Excellent skill in optimal execution and market making HFT strategies in equity markets
- Wide-ranging research and practice across trading signal generation, market microstructure, auto-hedging, pricing engines, market making and hedging strategies
- Experts in the area of artificial intelligence, machine learning, game theory, signal processing, optimization and simulation are of most interest.
- PhD required
