East Harlem Catholic elementary school is seeking first grade teacher to fill midyear opening. Ideal candidate has a record of success and expertise in the teaching of emergent reading, writing and mathematics to a diverse group of students, including those who are gifted and talented. He/She is aligned with the mission, teachings and values integral to Catholic education and is well-versed in NYS standards. High personal and professional expectations and commitment to the success of all students are essential. Ability to use educational technology to effectively deliver instruction is desirable. Current availability is preferable in order to facilitate continuity of instruction for the students.
Salary is based on experience and qualifications according to established scale.
