Embedded Hardware Engineer Job in Pella, Iowa Us
Our client in Southeast Iowa requires an Embedded Hardware Engineer to join their cutting edge team who are responsible for delivering creative electronic designs for off road vehicles.
We are looking for an Embedded Hardware Engineer who has a broad back ground within Electronics including Digital, Analogue, Microprocessors, Power Supplies etc, and an ability to be conversant with Embedded Software.
Essential duties include:
* Providing functional expertise in the field of embedded hardware with knowledge of microcontroller architecture, control system theory, and embedded electronic hardware design
* Developing, integrating, testing, debugging and commissioning of complex application hardware with Software Engineers and hardware debugging tools for machine control systems including directing regulatory tests for electronic devises, documenting development process and results
* Experience in firmware design.
* Experience in PCB design CAD
* Experience in embedded control system design in off road vehicles a plus.
* Experience in sensors and power electronics is a plus.
* Ability to practice creative problem solving to investigate new concepts and technologies.
* Effective communication skills for daily interacting with project teams that consist of both scientists and engineers
