My client, one of the leading brands in Private Banking and Investment Management, is currently recruiting for an Embedded Risk Manager to join their high-performing Group Operational Risk team.
This role is one which will offer you a diverse and challenging career, involving you in all areas of the institution in a business-critical function. You will sit as part of the First Line of Defence in the Private Bank, leading on risk control self-assessments and managing the Private Bank errors process. As a Risk Champion within the business, you will be in position to help change the risk culture of the institution, encouraging best practice in the business and the accurate reporting of all risk incidents on the new Operational Risk system. As the Embedded Risk Manager, you will have close contact with senior internal stakeholders, with input into the new product approval process. Your feedback will be really important in shaping the suite of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to be used.
The right individual for this role will currently be working for a large and high-performing Private Bank, with responsibilities across Operational Risk including new product approvals, risk control self-assessments and rolling out risk policies to Front Office staff. They will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills and a high-level of commercial awareness.
