EMD Sovereign Debt Analyst
The Emerging Market Debt team require an analyst to cover EMEA sovereign debt. You will monitor and research the macroeconomic and financial conditions of selected markets within the EMEA region. You will be integral to the teams performance working closely with the portfolio managers, communicating data, opinions and ideas within the organisation.
Other responsibiltiies include:
- Recommend positions for external debt, local rates and currency in EMD and other fixed income portfolios.
- Recommend exposures in EMEA markets across external debt, local rates and currency and provide a valid case for investment in selected markets.
- Build regression models for analysing markets and travel to meet with investment bank analysts and government officials.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong macroeconomic knowledge and ability to monitor financial developments across numbers countries within the EMEA region.
- Specialist knowledge in EM Debt
- Previous buy side experience is desirable.
