Role summary

This position is responsible to ensure that we develop and deliver an in house capability to support the Business Development team in defining the cost of services when bidding new contracts.  Working with suppliers, and through the development of a deep understanding of operational service levels and existing cost data, it is expected that we will build the capability to efficiently estimate pricing for new contracts.  In addition the role will be responsible to ensure we maintain and utilise the data within the E1 sourcing module to ensure we have best current pricing data. Working together with the EMEA Strategic Sourcing Manager and the Account Sourcing Managers, the New Business Sourcing Manager will recommend the qualification of appropriate new suppliers to ensure that we have the best mix available across the region to deliver value to our clients. Execute best practices, innovation and initiatives through to the account sourcing managers, across account in order we optimise the cost and quality of our services for our clients. 

Responsibilities

·         Supports all of the Business Development projects in developing client solutions and providing input for RFI’s and RFP’s.

·         Engagement in client contract negotiations on aspects for supplier and sourcing service agreements, KPI setting, save guarantee, gain share.

·         Support (pan European) strategic, tactical and new client sourcing initiatives.

·         Present procurement strategies/capabilities at bid presentations.

·         Using country, Market and industry intelligence Identify and qualify new suppliers to support the business.

·         Pricing - working with Business Development Team, develop a data base to be used to both price bids and drive savings.

·         Define industry standard service levels to support accurate pricing.

·         Collate savings initiatives from accounts and provide as case studies to Business Development team. 

·         Maintain case studies.

·         Develop and maintain procedures and workflow process for engagement in new business projects.

·         Provide a quarterly review of progress and opportunities.

·         Working with Operations Procurement Manager, support transitions of new business by ensuring a clean handover from the Business Development Team

·         Accountable for and contributes significantly to profitability and/or cost containment through direct PL costs.

·         Saves- working with sourcing managers and key suppliers, ensure that savings initiatives ideas are being driven across accounts to maximise savings impacts. 

·         Implement a standard savings tracker across accounts such that we can demonstrate value adds to our clients and case studies.

·         E1 - working thorough the Sourcing Analysis Manager, drive to completion and maintain the loading of account contracts data.

·         Qualities check data and make recommendations on improvements to data quality/format.

·         Support the client account sourcing transitions and transformations.

·         Other duties and projects as assigned.
