Emerging Market Credit Sales
Investment bank looking to hire a sales person with at least 5 years of experience selling emerging market Bonds ( Corporates - Sovereigns ).
The role is with an American bank who are in a very stable position who are upgrading and expanding their emerging markets desk.
The candidate must have a proven track record of generating strong revenue figures in emerging market corporate credit - sovereign bonds ( investment grade - high yield ). The candidate must have a transferable book of institutional clients.
The candidate should have relationships with institutions ( Insurance companies, Mutual funds, Asset manager?s, Banks, Hedge funds etc ) based in Europe - the USA - Latin America.
Responsibilities:
• Selling both USD and Emerging Market credit bonds ( investment grade - high yield ).
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients
• Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
• Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
• Focus on institutional accounts in Europe and - or USA - Latin America
• Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.
• Push the sales force and help build the franchise
Skills - Attributes required:
• Minimum 5 years sales experience in this space ( selling emerging market Corporate - Sovereign bonds - investment grade, high yield )
• A transferable account list
• Good revenue generation figures track record
