Emerging Markets FX strategist – Leading investment bank
with a significant and senior hire. The team are looking for a currency specialist to work across global emerging markets.
You will be expected to work directly with the sales team therefore client facing experience is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:-
- Working as the lead strategist responsible for generating Currency trade ideas in Emerging Europe, BRIC and Emerging Asia.
- Identify cross regional and cross asset opportunities
- Present views to a range of key clients.
- Directing the new hires and business strategy for the EM strategy business.
- Monitoring a range of currencies to support a fast-moving, successful business franchise and client base.
This role will enable you to focus on working with both the Emerging Markets Fixed Income business and the Global Currency business to integrate the research effort, in line with the growing interest in local market opportunities from dedicated emerging market investors.
This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead position in this team, reporting directly to the head of research.
